He assists the team in the drafting of commercial agreements and advice relating to commercial transactions. As a creative problem solver, he enjoys the challenge of the rapidly changing and growing legislative environment that is United Arab Emirates.
Derek holds an L.L.B degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and has practiced as an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa for 9 years. He has been exposed to various areas of law including corporate, commercial, high court litigation , personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.
Derek is fluent in English and can converse in Afrikaans.
