  • Advised on UAE consumer protection, warranty, and competition‑law matters relating to product use, including required disclosures, tools, and consumer‑care processes to mitigate legal risk.
  • Advised on product compliance, product liability, labelling and marking rules, warranty and spare‑parts requirements, and consumer‑protection duties.
  • Led and advised on product recalls in the UAE, including communications with MOIAT and MOE.
  • Advised a global Swiss biopharmaceutical manufacturer on UAE market access, establishment considerations, and the appointment of an exclusive master distributor, including Commercial Agencies Law implications.
  • Reviewed and drafted amendments to a term sheet and a master distribution agreement for GCC deployment.
  • Advised on establishment structures, medicine pricing, medical‑product advertising, and related regulatory requirements in the UAE.
  • Advised global oncological pathologists on regulatory requirements related to the transport of biological samples for early cancer‑screening testing and revised UAE distribution arrangements.
  • Advised on the classification, marketing, dispensing, and regulatory treatment of innovative health‑tech products across multiple form factors, including medical devices, optical products, and software‑as‑a‑medical‑device.
  • Advised on the licensing and regulatory framework for a water and utilities project in Abu Dhabi, including whether the project company, service‑management company, or tenants required water procurement/distribution licensing under the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Law, potential exemptions, and preparation of a consents table summarising required approvals (industrial licences, DOE licences, environmental permits, and network NOCs).
  • Acted as lead adviser on a regulatory mapping exercise covering tyre‑product requirements across six jurisdictions, including Kenya, Morocco, and Egypt.
  • Advised on UAE regulatory, licensing, and approval requirements triggered by a defence sector transaction involving a change of control over a Target holding a 49% stake in a UAE joint venture.
  • Advised on offset obligations, licensing duties under the Weapons Law, military/dual use import export controls, approval sequencing, and post completion compliance requirements.
