Nawal Hend
Nawal Hend is a Senior Associate at BSA LAW, based in Abu Dhabi. She is an international dispute resolution lawyer with over six years of experience advising on high-value construction, engineering, energy and infrastructure disputes across the Middle East, Europe and the GCC. Her practice focuses on complex commercial, construction and investment disputes arising from large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.
Nawal represents contractors, investors, sponsors and corporates in technically and legally complex matters, including disputes relating to highways, tunnels, bridges, wastewater facilities and renewable energy projects. She has acted on major commercial and construction arbitrations as well as investor state arbitration proceedings, including matters under the ICSID framework. In addition to dispute resolution, she advises on project structuring and contract drafting, bringing a commercially grounded approach to dispute strategy.
Before joining BSA LAW, Nawal trained and practised at Magic Circle and elite international law firms, working on complex cross-border matters spanning New York to the GCC. She is trilingual in Arabic, English and Hebrew and is qualified in the Middle East, with admission to the New York Bar forthcoming.
